We are about a mile north of I-30 on Hwy 8 on the right side.
Our Red Bayou Methodist church dates back to the mid 1800's with a tremendous amount of history!
We have a new Pastor Rev. Dr. CJ TillinghastHe comes from the United Methodist. A church planter and revitalizer that worked in TX and KY.He has 2 degrees with Asbury: an M. Div. and a D. Min. in 21st Century Church Planting.His undergrad was done with TX A & M and with the USMC as a KC-130 Flight Engineer.Rev. CJ has real-life experience from within a few careers. He served as a 4th generation US Marine, a firefighter, rescue medic, and swift water rescue technician. He served in various Fire and Sheriff departments as their Chaplain. He holds ecclesiastical endorsement as a Chaplin with the GMC and has served many years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a volunteer prison ministry team leader. He has also been a successful business-owner-CEO x 3 and has worked many years in commercial and federal construction management.Rev. Dr. CJ is a cattle rancher, cow calf operation, and enjoys horses. He is happily married with 5 children and 4 grandchildren.
